Overview
Production Supervisors Tailor Made are excited to be working with a client with an enviable reputation in its field. As an experienced Production Supervisor with a food background you will have experience of the following To coordinate and work closely with other factory team leaders. Responsible for key production tasks, minding the production line and operating production machines for the area in which you are working. This will include the direct supervision of all operatives on the production line. To be fully conversant and skilled in running all production lines and provide the necessary training. Making sure that the lot details of the raw materials, whether it be packaging or ingredients, are correct against the BOM instruction for each packing job in that factory unit; and that the line uses the correct materials accordingly. Stopping the line and investigating where this does not tally. Ensuring the BOM paperwork is completed accurately, recording the usage, wastage and returns of each packing job on the BOM report and validate checks to ensure the final completed quantity of each job on the BOM report. Responsible for ensuring that part used ingredients in the factory unit are labelled with their lot details and traceability / identification is not lost. Responsible for the progress, smooth and efficient running of the day to day operation of the lines. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the necessary GMP, SOP’s for your line’s production. Champion good manufacturing practise (GMP) and factory audits. Ensure food ingredients are being handled and stored in a food safe manner and according to food safety allergen and quality requirements. Champion Health and Safety and safe working practises within your area and the business as a whole, taking immediate action to prevent unsafe acts.
