Overview

Staffwave (operating as an employment agency) are currently recruiting 4 x HGV2 / 7.5tonne drivers for our client based in Chepstow We are looking for motivated, flexible drivers with great customer skils to assist with an ongoing contract. The Job : -The role will involve multidrop deliveries to residential properties -Working with a drivers mate -Manual handling and handballing is required -A Good attitude is required, along with a certain amount of flexibility -Good verbal and written skills, as the job will require dealing with some paperwork What we offer : -Hourly rates between £9.50 / £10.25 (PAYE) - Limited Drivers welcome -5 out of 7 Shift Pattern, weekends will be required on a rota basis -Start times between 06:00 – 07:00 -Average shift length of 10 hours What we are looking for : Must have held a valid 7.5tonne or HGV2 license for a minimum of 12 months -Current and valid DCPC card and digital tachograph -No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences (unfortunately due to insurance purposes, we cannot accept any previous IN, DN endorsements) -Good level of English -Good knowledge of the UK Road networks -Good timekeeping -Customer service focused -Well presented -Physically fit Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage for this role To apply, please send CV or call 01172 510153
