Overview

Randstad CPE are currently working with an bespoke facilities management company to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their FM team providing maintenance to their local authority client based in Liverpool. Roles and Responsibilities: To deliver electrical planned and reactive maintenance and scheduled installation works To order materials and services as required and update records To oversee and manage specialist sub-contractors To carry out new electrical work as required, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete supporting paperwork To rectify defects in all electrical systems and associated plans / components. To respond to reactive and emergency faults in line with SLAs Person Specification: A full trade electrical apprenticeship plus current qualifications such as C&G 2391 Test & Inspection, BTEC National Diploma, NVQ or similar, in an electrical discipline (and a willingness to attain cross-skilling). Hold 18th edition. Must have experience of building services/maintenance Ideally, able to read technical drawings and diagnose technical faults Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal IT literacy Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude Able to obtain clearance.
