Overview

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a fantastic business in Derby on an initial 12 week temporary basis to cover for sickness and a large backlog of work. You will join a business who have a well known name in the market. An excellent working environment with flexible hours, a supportive team and onsite parking. The role reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor in a high volume transaction environment, the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for: - Input and matching of supplier invoices - Input of Employee Expenses ensuring adherence to company policies - Ensuring the resolution of pricing/delivery/master data/other queries via liaison with local and non-UK-based purchasing /logistics/operations staff. - Liaising with other departments to ensure they are fully appreciative and compliant with company standard procedures necessary for AP performance standards to be met. - Maintain vendor relationships through timely payments and excellent service levels effectively with a very strong 'customer service' ethos. - Supplier statement reconciliations - Admin, Filing and other Ad-Hoc duties as required The successful applicant will have: Strong Purchase Ledger experience Attention for detail Hardworking and proactive Due to the nature of the role, only candidates immediately available or available on a short notice period will be considered for the role
