Overview

Do you have Clerk of Works/Site Supervising background and are looking to be part of growing organisation? This exciting Position is to provide a management service to oversee quality and contractual compliance on construction projects being delivered through a housing association development programme, Reporting to the Senior project Manager this is a permanent Position the role is offering a Salary of up to £37,000 per year. Key accountability: Undertake regular site inspections to monitor that work being undertaken is in accordance with the contract requirements and associated documentation Ensure site records and all documentation is recorded appropriately Issue directions to contractors as appropriate Liaise with contractors, staff, consultants and tenants, and report to the Project Manager as necessary. Inspect works in progress and on completion to monitor compliance with the contract requirements. Prepare snag lists, monitor variations, and maintain appropriate records of the works undertaken. Responsibilities may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or level of responsibilities entailed. The Quality Manager will be expected to undertake such other duties as may be requested provided the general character of the duties or level of responsibility does not change Essential Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of building construction, including procurement and contracting and surveying procedures, with experience in the Housing Sector. Knowledge of the current Building Regulations (Wales) Ability and experience of reading technical drawings. Key experience in planning and organising workloads effectively with the gravitas to organise and communicate complex information effectively.
