Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for a HR Business Partner/Employee Relations Specialist to join a well-established and highly reputable company based across the UK. This position is for a period of 12 months and will be home based (Derby, Sheffield, Doncaster, Lincoln area ideal), in order for you to travel to northern hubs when required. Our clients Head Office is based in Cambridge and you will need to be able to commute here on occasion too. The right candidate will be CIPD Level 5 or above, with solid generalist experience, specifically focusing on Employee Relations, which will need to also include strategic planning and disciplinary investigations. Duties & Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner: Provision of guidance, coaching and advice to line managers in respect of employment law, best practice and Company policies. Absence reporting, identifying issues and trends, liaising with managers on issues, give advice, refer to procedures. Support Managers with Employee Relations issues end to end, inclusive of Capability, Disciplinary and Grievance issues. Provide coaching and support where needed and attend meetings as required. Monitoring and reporting of KPIs, including headcount. Participate in the development and updating of appropriate Company policies to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of staff throughout the organisation. Delivery of HR related training programmes. Support with the appraisal process. Adhoc reporting from HR system. Support with the Compensation and Benefits Review Process. Support with recruitment. Work with Management Teams in organisation development and change programmes such as site relocations, redundancy programmes, culture change etc. and support managers and employees through the change journey. Support all Company projects Support with updating policies adhoc Other generalist HR issues as they arise You will need to be approachable, focused and be able to tailor your approach when needed.
