Overview

Test Analyst - based in Cosham, Portsmouth Paying up to £35,000 plus benefits including Bonus, Vitality Healthcare, Private Medical Insurance, Pension (5% Contribution), 25 days holiday (increasing with service), staff discount, casual dress code, plus much more As a Test Analyst you will be joining an established team of Manual and Automation Testers, acting as a key resource within project teams, offering support and advice at the project design stage and providing hands-on test duties during delivery. You’ll be responsible for analysing requirements, defining and executing tests and data, contributing to the regression catalogue, raising defects and running automated regression. You will have the technical skills to work within an IT landscape that requires you to self-manage your own test environment needs and identify issues and problem solve where needed. Experience: A proven successful track record working as a Test Analyst in medium sized and matrix managed teams. A thorough understanding of the full test lifecycle and the activities required for success at each level. Has experience of different test levels, types and methods and can apply the principles of each. A broad experience of e-commerce architecture and the integration of front and back end systems and how they manage data. Strong experience of end-to-end business process flows for large scale online retailers. Able to work successfully in an environment that supports a face pace of change. Competencies required: The ability to work on their own initiative and successfully self-manage time and tasks. Highly skilled in requirements analysis, test case identification, test data definition, defect resolution. Adept at learning new systems and processes and technically 'Hands-On’. A broad experience of web-oriented technologies and how they support e-commerce platforms. Able to triage and mange incidents and work with the business and IT to resolve issues. An understanding of test automation, preferably with experience of VMWare, C#, Visual Basic, Selenium, SQL & NUnit (or alternative, translatable skills). Experienced in using JIRA as a ticketing, incident management and workflow tool. A working knowledge of test case management tools (e.g. Test Rail, TM4J).
