The Redline Group have partnered with a leading designer of high-speed communications systems to secure the services of a Contract Electronics Consultant - Optical/Ethernet to support them on a crucial new development project based close to Paignton. A 12-month opportunity Outside IR35, you will join a design team and be tasked with providing critical support to adhere to industry standards within the design and development of a new product, as well as completing verification and validation activities. This is the chance to be heavily involved in a full life-cycle project Key Skills Required - Contract Electronics Consultant - Optical/Ethernet, Paignton: - Sound knowledge of OTN (Optical Transport Networks) and Ethernet protocols, ideally in the region of 100G and above. - A knowledge/experience of working with FlexE/FlexO technologies. - Strong familiarity with industry standards, such as IEEE802.3 and ITU-T G.709 - Experience in verification planning/testing.
