Overview
Our subsidiary company, Churchill Controls , are looking for a Production Team Leader to join their team at the Crowthorne Office. Job Summary: Hands-on electronics production and control including; supplier liaison, BOM, parts, small batch manufacture, wiring sub-assembly, final assembly and production test for on-time delivery of customer orders. They have a small production team at Churchill Controls, therefore the work is variable however our production team leader can expect to have the following duties: Core Duties Day-to-day running of SAGE 50 Manufacturing system for stock control, supplier ordering, production planning, build for stock and fulfilling customer orders. Sales order processing, ensuring the correct goods are allocated to the given jobs, and setting target delivery dates. Liaise with customers in a professional manner regarding queries and concerns on sales orders. Assemble, test, calibrate, configure and pack products and systems to a high quality standard to satisfy customer orders. Work with General Manager to ensure all relevant documents, e.g. BOM and test specifications, are up-to-date within the manufacturing process to ensure goods are built to the correct specification. Maintain full control of stock which includes overseeing all goods in and out of stores. Liaising with sub-assembly, component and parts suppliers to ensure delivery times and KPIs are met in relation to the manufacturing processes. Assisting and consulting between sales administration and accounts for any related queries against purchase orders, works orders and customer delivery issues. Guidance and training of production technician to ensure targets are met within the production team for on time delivery. Maintaining clean and safe production bench and workshop areas. Flexibility with working hours during busy time periods with overtime. Additional Duties Stand in for the General Manager during his absence as and when requested. Support for customer technical queries when required. After full training, undertake customer visits to maintain and repair Churchill products at customer locations throughout the UK. Job Package: This is a full time role. The hours are 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday, in their Crowthorne Office. The successful Production Team Leader will benefit from Holiday Pay, Sick Pay, Pension and Free Parking. The holiday entitlement starts at 20 days Bank Holidays and increases with service.
