Overview

Job Description We wish to recruit a full time vehicle valeter, Telematics/tracker fitter and driver. Previous experience of this type of role is essential, as is attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a mature attitude and proud to deliver vehicles to a high standard. Duties involve ·Checking vehicles in and recording any damage or defects accurately ·The full valeting of vehicles ·Carrying out Installations of new vehicle trackers ·Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standard. ·Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer. ·The use of a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors. ·Photographing vehicles ·Minor cosmetic replacement or repair ·Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork (an understanding of Smart repair) Delivering/collecting vehicles to/from our customers and moving vehicles between branches. ·Signing vehicles off/checking vehicles in ·Greeting customers ·Experience of driving recovery/flatbed vehicles preferred but not essential. The candidate will have an understanding of the types of rules and regulations that apply to this type of role, such as: ·Complying with all road legislation. ·Following health and safety procedures while working with chemicals. ·Maintaining equipment and machinery correctly and in accordance with instruction. ·Completing a daily record of work completed. General duties will include general tidying and cleanliness that may include mopping, sweeping. The successful candidate will have: ·An eye for detail and the ability to use their own initiative ·A Can-do attitude ·Must have own transport ·A full driving licence (max 3 points, drivers with DD or DR codes or bans will NOT be considered) ·An enthusiasm and passion for vehicles Due to insurance restrictions we are unable to consider applicants under 21.
