Class 1 Yard Shunter - Manchester
Overview
CWS are currently looking for an HGV 1 yard shunter to work on behalf of a major blue chip company based in Manchester. We will be looking for a flexible individual to work on a 4 on 4 off basis on days. All shifts guaranteed for 10.5 hours per day and rotaed monthly. All candidates must have a full HGV 1 licence, CPC and preferably must have shunting experience on a Turberg shunt unit. Drivers without licence are welcome to apply but need intense experience as a yard shunter. Drivers duties will consist of shunting trailers around the yard to be dropped off to the loading bays where all units to then be unloaded by warehouse staff on site. An induction on to the site is to be scheduled for successful candidates at a later date.
