Overview
Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce we are recruiting for Biostatistician for our client Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will have fluent English, have a minimum of at least 3 years’ experience as a Biostatistician and have undertaken and participated in literature as a principal investigator or as co-investigator of research work to have been published within international journals within the last two years. Responsibilities: Assist in evaluating scientific, basic sciences and clinical research applications submitted to Clinical Research Committee. Assist in improving the quality of research proposals prior to their submission to the Clinical Research Committee for review Assist in the periodic assessment of ongoing research studies. To adhere to Hospital policy and procedures in the use of all medical and research databases and help in providing security tools in order to protect the patients privacy. Engage actively in basic and/or clinical research. Assist the supervisor in seeking a progressive growth of investigate work at the Hospitals by submitting proposals for funding stimulating investigative studies by other members of the medical research staff, and by appropriate promotional efforts. Assist in the preparation of personnel evaluation for subordinate staff in accordance with the Hospitals and departmental personnel policy. Assist the supervisor in long-range planning of research activities at the Hospital or in the field. Share with the supervisor in the important decision making or planning within the Research Center. Assist in development of Research reports. Maintain current clinical expertise through continuing education pursuits. Conduct a statistical and clinical support for the Hospital. Participate in the education of Physicians, Nursing Staff, Laboratory Research Staff and others regarding Biostatistics or any other area of expertise. Perform other jobs required. Education requirements: Masters MSc Degree in Biostatistics or equivalent from an accredited University. PhD Degree in Biostatistics
