HMRC Advisory Lawyer x2 Contract - Full-time £26 per hour PAYE Holidays London About the Role: A fantastic career opportunity for 2 Advisory Lawyers to join a Government Legal Services team in Central London for a minimum of 1 year. The Advisory Lawyers will be working in a large team of around 150 Lawyers dealing with high-quality work that covers a broad range of general public law issues such as human rights, European law, FOI and Tax law to name a few. The Lawyers in the team work in specialist divisions and handle specific areas of work; the successful Advisory Lawyers will join the advisory teams within the organisation and look at tax legislation and advise Government officers. Key Requirements: The ideal candidate for this Advisory Lawyer role will have: Full Legal qualification (Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent) Advisory experience in a public setting Public law experience Key responsibilities: The successful candidate for this Advisory Lawyer role will be required to: Making evidence based decisions Advise on legal issues arising from Government policy and operational work Deal with a caseload of general public law issues such as human rights, European law, FOI and Tax law Gives legal advice on the development of policy, and draft Finance Bill legislation On Offer: 1 year minimum contract with highly likely extension 42 paid hours per week for 37 working hours Flexible working options Central London location 31 days paid holiday per annum Sellick Partnership is a market-leading professional services recruitment specialist operating across the UK.
