Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading financial software company based in Newcastle City centre. The successful candidate will maintain and develop applications/packages and support teams of junior/mid-level developers across the business. In addition, remote working options are also available, though ideally you will be located within a reasonable distance from Newcastle should there ever be a need to visit the office. Required skills/experience 3-5 years’ experience building responsive web applications Advanced knowledge of React/Redux Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals An engineering mindset with an understanding of modularity, testability, scalability, etc. An appreciation for the importance of unit testing and experience with modern testing tools (Jest, enzyme, Cypress, etc) A keen eye for design and a passion to create beautiful UIs that are accessible and intuitive Strong communication skills both verbal and written Desirable skills/experience Angular 1.x TypeScript/Flow Micro-frontend experience Experience in design systems/reusable component libraries This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89911666
