A medium-sized, creative agency based in Candleriggs, right in Glasgow city centre, has an exciting opportunity for a PHP Developer to join their team. They deliver beautiful, responsive sites for a wide range of clients and are regarded as one of the leading web development agencies in Scotland. They work hard, and play just as hard too - often taking Amazing Days out (think Speedboat pub crawls, clays, quad safaris etc) The agency specialises in the marriage of engaging, UX driven front end interfaces coupled with advanced back end systems which have helped business across the UK and beyond transform their business. Their talented team have genuinely produced some of the most innovative digital projects in Scotland ranging from crowd-sourcing platforms, social networks, e-ticketing and much more. About the role: They are looking to grow their development team with some fresh new talent. They are looking for Developers of all levels to assist with the creation of content-managed websites in their busy studio in the centre of Glasgow. This is a great opportunity to work with a young, focused and talented team of individuals. Applicants should be if possible able to demonstrate websites that they have helped develop using at least some of the technologies mentioned in this ad. You will be: Developing responsive sites and business systems for their fantastic client base Supporting the development and maintenance of existing sites, which are developed using a mixture of their in-house CMS Eskimo V4.0 amongst others including Drupal, Symphony and Laravel. Helping to push forward their platform to Version 5.0 The Technology: Essential: CSS JavaScript / jQuery Object Oriented PHP MySQL Desirable: Sass Gulp or Grunt task runners Git or other version control software such as Mercurial or SVN PHP framework experience such as Laravel or Symfony JavaScript framework experience such as Backbone, React, or Angular Ionic App development experience or other Hybrid App development experience.
