Overview
Application Support Ipswich Permanent £25,000-£35,000 PA Cooper Lomaz are working with an industry leading financial services company who are looking to add to their internal support team based out of Adastral Park. They are currently recruiting for an application support specialist to join their small team, due to company growth. This company has the feel of a small software house, where everyone is a valued member, but with the corporate perks attached. For example, they have an excellent benefits reward scheme, pension plan and social events for the team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting bespoke software, ideally from a payroll or financial background. Due to the complex nature of their software, no two days are the same and the successful applicant will not be involved with low level fixes or support, but rather will be tasked with troubleshooting complex issues. For instance, the same results may occur for two companies, but in one case this will be fine, and in the other this will be an issue, so you will be tasked with identifying the issue and then devising a solution to the problem. Therefore, the company is looking for a self sufficient support candidate, who is looking for their next step in their career, in a challenging support role.
