Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Network focused Technical Architect to join our Infrastructure Practice group based in Central London. Six Degrees Group provides integrated managed services linking people, places and clouds. We do this by leveraging our core capabilities and next generation network assets to deliver a fully integrated range of cloud, datacentre, connectivity and voice services. Our team includes some of the most technically able individuals in our industry and this, when combined with our core assets and product portfolio, helps our customers to be more innovative and differentiated in their own organisations, thanks to our solutions. The Connectivity Technical Architect role sits at the forefront of Six Degrees’ Connectivity business and is responsible for developing solutions and driving SD-WAN sales. The Technical Architect will be at the centre of this, producing industry-leading solutions and digital transformation strategies that win business. Within the role, the Technical Architect will work directly with customer’s engagement and collaborate with our internal sales, product managers, directors and engineering teams. The common objective across these groups is to drive meaningful sales activity and design thoughtful solutions that build rapport and position Six Degrees as the client’s preferred technology partner. Our ideal candidate will have previous technical and commercial experience managing enterprise network opportunities from conception to close. Substantial and relevant experience in designing connectivity solutions and proposals and a background of working with clients, understanding their infrastructure environments, and the ability to effectively communicate solutions and confidently make recommendations. You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise networks including Managed WAN, SD-WAN, Ethernet/MPLS, VPN.
