1st and 2nd line IT Support Role

About the Role This is a 1 st and 2 nd line IT Support Role based at our Earls Colne offices supporting 100 office employees. A full driving licence is required as at times you will be required to visit other sites/companies within the Group. Due to the diversity of the companies within the Group, applicants will need a flexible and hands-on approach to support all IT requirements. Essential skills: Ideally candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience in an IT Support Role. Live within a 45-minute commute to Earls Colne, Colchester, Essex. Logical and methodical approach to problem solving. Ability to diagnose hardware issues/replace/upgrade hardware (HDD, RAM, SSD etc.) Good understanding of TCP/IP configuration and network topology. Experience with Microsoft Office products. Very good communication skills. Both on the phone and in person. Desirable skills: Knowledge of Windows Server SMB/enterprise environments. Knowledge of Active Directory/DNS/DHCP. Knowledge of Office 365. Experience of VM environments.
