Overview

Middleware Analyst - WebSphere MQ, Linux, Windows - Circa £40K benefits - Coventry (commutable from Warwick, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Redditch, Birmingham, etc) A Middleware Analyst is required to provide technical support and administration for live systems and defined development systems. You will be responsible for providing access control for all specified production environments, which includes all forms of physical access, and remote access to production systems; Improve processes and procedures in IT Delivery including retraining and improving documentation; Provide technical support for IT Projects and IT Work-streams; Support the execution of System User & Integration Testing in all System enhancements and changes; Support the full end to end change management process for all IT Changes. Previous Experience: Experience in WebSphere Application Server a on (Linux / Windows / VM Ware Experience of WebSphere MQ (v6, v7, v8) on Linux / Windows / VM Ware Proficient in deploying and configuring WebSphere on both Linux and Windows in a VMware environment. Experienced in configuring WAS to work with DB2, Oracle and MS SQL Server Ability to configure WAS to work with WMQ Desirable: Good security understanding, ability to configure WAS with SSL, WAS security, LDAP and MS Active Directory.
