Locum Occupational Therapist

Seven Healthcare is looking for a Locum Occupational Therapist in Maidenhead to start ASAP until at least the end of May. The role: To provide professional assessments and support for occupational therapy needs to residents with long term needs within their own home environment Key responsibilities: To provide day to day ongoing professional support to customers as required and, where possible, promote social change To provide and occupational therapy service to identified customers with complex needs, using relevant professional specialism and helping customers to achieve desire outcomes and improve their quality of life To monitor and review occupational therapy outcomes in line with procedures; assist in problem solving to enhance wellbeing using relevant professional skills Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: BSc or equivalent in Occupational Therapy Compliance: Registered with the HCPC Preferably a member of RCOT Experience: Significant experience of working with vulnerable adults in one or more of the following areas; learning disabilities, older persons, physical disabilities, mental health, experience of working with adults in the community Manual handling knowledge and experience Seating knowledge and experience Knowledge and experience with disable facilities grant (DFG) work Hours: 30 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days) Pay: Outside IR35 Working with Seven Health & Social Care: Established in 2011, Seven Health & Social Care is a leading provider of care professionals to The NHS, county councils, charities, care homes and private organisations across the UK.
