Job Title: Nursery Practitioner Location: New Cross, Lewisham Salary: £9.05 - 10.31 per hour Details: Full Time & Permanent Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. New Cross Community Nursery offers a fun and exciting environment for our children to enjoy and learn in. As one of our largest settings, our Early Years Practitioners have fantastic resources in this spacious nursery allowing them to be creative in their activities. The Nursery has a large garden space for the children to explore and enjoy, we encourage as much outside play as possible. Our Early Years Practitioners create inspiring experiences for our children, establishing a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in our children's development. LEYF are advocates for high standards and imaginative teaching whilst maintaining professional attitudes and championing child-centred learning. Our staff excel in teamwork and supporting the nursery whilst it grows in to a truly fascinating setting for our children. Person Specification: Relevant childcare qualification at level 2 or above. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting. At least 6 months experience in an early year's setting To champion LEYF's values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time. To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. To be dedicated in achieving the highest standard of education and care Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
