Nursery Practitioner Part Time – 5 days a week 1pm - 6pm - Bessborough Community Nursery Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. The nursery cares for children aged from birth to 5 years and they have a wonderful outdoor area where the children can develop their physical skills. We are looking for our new Nursery Practitioner to champion LEYF’s values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time. To encourage a supportive team atmosphere and the ability to work together in a positive and compassionate way. The successful candidate will have: Childcare qualification at level 3 or above, we will also candidate working towards their Level 3 in childcare. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and how this is monitored in a nursery setting. At least 6 months experience working in an early year’s setting. Good knowledge of EYFS and its different areas. Sound knowledge of how children learn. Good understanding of recording and reporting. Experience in planning activities based around children's interest.
