StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for HGV 1 Day ( Tramping available ) & Night Drivers for one of our extremely well recognised clients based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire This role is Full time, ongoing Temporary with Permanent opportunity’s for hardworking reliable individuals We are looking for experienced, professional , flexible HGV 1 drivers who are able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day to day operation. The Job: Company induction required General haulage or distribution deliveries throughout the UK Curtainside or flatbed vehicles therefore, experience of strapping & securing load will be necessary No handball required, loads are loaded and unloaded for you Average shift 11 hours weekly 55 hours The role will require you to be well presented, polite, courteous and to represent the client and StaffCo to a high standard at all times. What we offer: - Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour Days - Start times from 04.00 – 06.00 hours - Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour Nights – Start times from 18.00 – 20.00 hours - Night out paid at £25 per night - The role is Monday to Friday with weekend overtime work available Saturday & Sunday paid at premium rates What we are looking for: - Valid CE Licence, held for over 1 year - Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO - No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) - Excellent level or English - Experience of strapping loads - Good Timekeeping - Customer care focused - Well presented - Physically fit Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
