Semi Senior Accountant - with Audit Exposure

A progressive and growing 3-Partner accountancy practice in Potters Bar is currently recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant due to acquiring new clients. They have a client portfolio coming from different industries and turnovers of up to £30 million. They provide career progression opportunities, depending on your ambition and drive. The role will be mainly consisting of accounts preparation and those skills are required. Together with career progression they provide study support which includes paid courses, exams and time off for studying. This role is mainly accounts preparation, however if you would like to get experience in assisting in audits, that would also be possible in this progressive role. About your role as a Semi Senior Accountant: Role split: 70% Accounts Preparation and 30% Audit Preparing Statutory Accounts - average turnovers of up to £12 million Calculating Corporation Tax Direct contact with the clients Yearly Management Accounts including preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets for the clients Assisting with Audit assignments (planning, testing, field work, completion) Benefits of the role as a Semi Senior Accountant: 22 days (rising by 1 day up to 25) of holiday plus bank holidays ACCA/ACA study support with paid exams and time off Career progression Working in a relaxed and vibrant team Requirements of the role as a Semi Senior Accountant: Minimum 2 year of accountancy practice experience You are driven and ambitious and have a desire for career progression Excellent communication skills Semi Senior Accountant - with Audit Exposure £28,000 - £32,000 per annum Potters Bar
