CAD Technician

Title: CAD technician Hours: 08:00 to 17:00 Mon to Fri Start Date: Immediately Pay: Circa £20,000 Location: Kidderminster Job Summary We are recruiting for and innovative solar installation company who are seeking a CAD technician as part of continued expansion. The position entails providing full support to the sales and design team, providing and designing drawings for our new build housing developer clients to help us secure contracts with full CAD designs to show the location of our solar panels. This is a temporary position. The position requires diligence, attention to detail and a methodical approach as you will form an important part of our sales process and your designs/drawings have a big impact on the clients ability to be competitive and secure projects going forward . Responsibilities and Duties Using AUTOCAD to produce accurate CAD designs to locate and design solar PV panels on new build housing developments Providing site layout plans to show PV panel locations Providing technical drawings as required Designing and calculating outputs from PV systems Providing CAD schematics for electrical connections Full training will be provided on most but experience in AUTOCAD essential.
