As an accredited meter asset manager, meter operator and data collector/aggregator, we work alongside major energy suppliers and partner with some of the country’s biggest brands and best-known public sector organisations. They look to us for advanced metering services, data supply and analytics and utility network services to help them optimise their gas, water and electricity consumption. We are currently looking to recruit a permanent data analyst to join our busy team based in Darwen. Main duties for this role: Monitors Data Retrieval Engines to ensure Communications performance matches required SLAs for customers. Setup redials on the Data Retrieval system for the full portfolio of Energy Assets devices. Setup redials on the Data Retrieval system for the full portfolio of Energy Assets devices. Investigate D4’s (Comms Failures) for both the Settlement DC/DR groups in Energy Assets. This includes investigating the faults via re-dialling meters, cross referencing with MOP Systems, industry systems (ECOES) and other sources of data and examining the end to end metering system configuration. Proactively manage Comms Issues and interact with MOP entities (D1’s), manual read workforce and technical team for resolution of issues to meet market and customer SLAs. Organize & track Comms request / manual meter reads / LC12 reads as per DC/Supplier requests. To be considered for this position you will have at least 1-2 years previous experience ideally within a multi utility business and have a clear understanding of data.
