Overview

My client is a large National contractor who specialises in Industrial new builds. They are looking to take on a permanent Senior Site Engineer to continue the growth of their team in the Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. My Client is looking for someone local to the Bedford/Milton Keynes area however there must be a degree of flexibility travel wise as there will be a need to visit site slightly further afield. This vacancy has come about due to an increase in workload and expansion as a business unit. Successful candidates will act as part of an Engineering team and aid the successful delivery of one of a number of new build Industrial projects. The ideal candidate would come from a background of delivering large scale Industrial and Commercial projects with a value of £2million to £20million. The successful candidate would be looking to join the team ASAP. Duties & Responsibilities Overseeing quality control and safety matters on site and ensuring all regulations are adhered to. Participating in daily programme meetings to discuss requirements; Line managing, nurturing and developing Engineers. Producing, maintaining and monitoring programmes of work Assisting the Project/Senior Site Manager with cost reviews for project budget. Producing and monitoring timescales of when RAMS, drawings and all other important documentation required. Requirements: Education to degree level in Civil Engineering.
