The role will suit candidates with a history of improving efficiencies within production environments. The role requires a candidate with success in people management roles previously. A strong working knowledge of COSHH is essential due to the working environment in which this role is in. Previous experience in driving a department to reach its KPI’s is essential for the role. The correct candidate can be from any engineering background. The role is involved with the management of 3 separate departments within manufacturing, working with high risk processes and substances. These materials are used in the preparation of production which causes a large emphasis on the use of COSHH. Meeting health and safety requirements and improving this side of the business is a key element of the role. Each of the 3 departments have a team leader who will directly report to you, ensuring that the efficiency of these departments are improved is vital in this role. The role will involve the management of 30 production personnel predominately through the 3 team leaders.
