Mixing Plant Team Leader

We are looking for a Mixing Plant Team Leader to join our robust production team at our expanding manufacturing site in Alfreton. Supervising the mixing plant, you will lead production with the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time with the technical knowledge of equipment to fault find. You must have a proven track record of leading a team, strong knowledge of mixing plant machinery and process systems. You will need to demonstrate the ability to develop team members and be a pro-active leader. SHIFTS : 4 on 4 off. (Days 0600-1800) DUTIES: Oversee the operation and maintenance Coordinate activities and work closely with other members of the mix plant team Control the manufacturing process of all finished compounds Stock Control of Mixing plant related products and raw materials Facilitate finished product and monitor / record the settings Conduct regular audits and accurately ascertain current running conditions against demand Routine scheduled process monitoring tasks and responding to process faults Complete a shift reports and running logs Improve upon targets for safety, cost, quality, delivery, equipment and people Focus of delivery and continuous improvement Meet shift production targets Organise storage location for raw materials / resin and to test and record all data as specified KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: Strong technical and maintenance knowledge of manufacturing plant machinery Experience in a team leader / supervisory role Solid mixing plant / production process.
