Overview
Accept Recruitment are now recruiting for 7.5 Tonne HGV Drivers on an on-going basis for a well-known furniture company based in S71, Barnsley. As a successful candidate for the 7.5 Tonne Driving role, you will be required to deliver furniture to customers homes alongside a second driver or a drivers mate. You will need to be able to give excellent customer service. You will require to have the following: 7.5 Tonne (C1) Licence A minimum of 3 months’ experience in a similar position No more than 9 points on a licence (no DR, DD, DG, IN10) Valid UK License with C1 Entitlement. Driver CPC qualification Digital Tachograph card 7.5 Tonne Driver must have correct PPE i.e safety boots and high-vis Your daily duties will include: Loading/unloading of the vehicle with the help of a second driver or a drivers mate Collecting stock Meeting deadlines for scheduled deliveries Handballing Ensuring that the best service is provided at all time Dealing with customers face to face and on the phone to confirm deliveries Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations Available shifts: Monday to Friday ( bi-week Monday to Saturday) Tuesday to Saturday Start times between 05:30- 09:00, average shifts’ length 10 hours Pay rate: (Ltd) £12.00 p/h (PAYE) £10.50 p/h If you are interested in our job offer, please apply today or give us a call.
