Overview

JOB PURPOSE: We are currently working with a reputable company to support with the supply of QC Assistants. The role involve assisting members of the fuels team to compile an accurate inventory of straw bales destined for power generation at Sleaford Plant. Detailed record keeping and accuracy is paramount in this process. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Work with straw suppliers to process straw stocks accurately per supply contracts · Weigh and check quality of straw bales moving into storage in accordance with quality criteria · Tabulate and report these records to the relevant member · Ensure company policies are adhered to especially those in relation to safety health & environment · After receiving the daily tasking from the team plan and manage your time to complete these tasks · Carry out all tasks as requested above and including those not listed above but deemed to be within candidates capabilities CANDIDATE PROFILE: · Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills · Own car · Trustworthy · Good standard of written and verbal communications · Computer literate · Diligent and responsible · Can work with a degree of autonomy HOURS OF WORK Typically during harvest, the candidate will be expected to be working 7.00am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and from 7.00am - 3.00pm on Saturday. Some flexibility on hours may be required depending on workload
