Overview
Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing's Machining & Fabrication team have a fantastic opportunity with an award winning manufacturing business based in Sheffield. The business is invested in their people and machining capabilities with various capex projects and investing in new machines, they also have 3 various shifts of days and nights to suit their employees. You will be required to set and operate 2 XYZ CNC Milling machines Siemens controls (Siemens Sinumerik 828D). Duties and Responsibilities include: Working on 2 Milling machines with Siemens controls Must be able to set up, operate and adjust/edit equipment settings as required Must be able to prove and/or edit programmes Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and work instructions Work on small components in various batch sizes but also some one off's Use conventional measuring equipment Strong emphasis on quality The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Excellent attitude to work Engineering background - precision engineering experience Experience setting and operating CNC machinery - CNC Milling with Siemens controls Great communication and teamwork skills If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Hannah Frankland at Elevation Recruitment Group.
