FLT Counterbalance Driver / Yard Person

Job title: FLT Counterbalance / Yard Operative / Van driver Location: Rugby Salary: £9.00 per hour Hours: Early shift – 05:30 am – 3:00 pm Tuesday – Saturday Basis: Ongoing A fantastic opportunity with a rugby based business for a Yard Person with an FLT licence. We need a counterbalance driver with a driving licence to do the occasional Van deliveries. Day to Day duties will include the following: · Operating the MHE Counterbalance (3 years exp minimum) · Stock rotation · Loading & un-loading vehicles · General warehouse duties · Any Reasonable requests from your line manager · Picking/packing · Use of hand scanners and computers · All work is conducted inside and outside (Warm outdoor clothing required YARD MAN) · Van deliveries from time to time As a person you will need the following qualities and experience: · Respecting health and safety (following daily checks) · FLT licence Counterbalance · FLT experience within the last 3 years (Desirable) · Preparing vehicles for loading (opening & closing curtains, removing pallets) · Ability to assess loads prior to loading (Height for double stacking and weight distribution) · Physically fit happy to perform manual labour when required (requirement to rebuild pallets on occasions) · Positive attitude · Team player · Good communication skills · Must be able to work on own initiative · Punctual If you think this job is for you please call or text 07513802057 Monday – Sunday between 08:00 am – 20:00 pm
