Overview
Quality Engineer A manufacturer of customised products to a variety of industries are now looking for an experienced Quality Technician or Quality Inspector who is looking to take the next step within their quality career and move into a Quality Engineer capacity within this demanding, fast paced business. Reporting into the Operation Director, the successful individual will be responsible for co-ordinating the daily tasks and workload of the inspection team; have direct communication with end customers for complaints; controlling and raising quality process documentation including work instructions, control plans and operator check lists; assist with both 1 st and last off inspection tasks when required; validating new product introduction as well as the reporting of monthly KPI’s for complaints, credit notes. The successful individual must be able to demonstrate at least 2 years commercial experience of working within a quality assurance / inspection capacity within either a low or high volume manufacturing environment; have exposure to 8D, 5 Why or DMAIC measurement techniques; experience of working to ISO9001 standards and be proficient in the use of MS Office including Excel. Individuals with previous exposure to TS16949 and / or ISO13845 quality systems would be of distinct interest to our client, though not essential.
