Overview
Cold Store Supervisors duties (5am – 2:30pm) General Tasks · 5:00am come into building and greet the night staff. · Handover with night shift, checking staffing and debrief check sheet. Any Staffing (Sickness/Absences) should be reported Online or by email. · Ensure all vehicles are loaded safely and securely on time to the drivers due in times. · Monitor the drivers board to make sure all drivers are either out or due to come in and arrange agency cover for last minute sickness. · Once all drivers and night staff have left start to collate the information for HQ. · Despatch notes should be checked and despatched on Online Stock System any shortages should be advised on handover and emailed. · Check the pick sheets for any non completed pick on Online Stock System and identify any stock discrepancies due to not being scanned. Cold Store Management · English Frozen Vegetable Stock check every week on a Monday to be sent to HQ. · Ensuring all day shift staff are aware of what duties need to done from the handover, including creating space for the container stock putaway. · Store Management consisting of monitoring stock rotation, stock checks. Stock Checks should be carried out on a weekly basis where possible to ensure stock rotation. · Cold Store should be kept clean and free ensuring staff are regularly cleaning floor areas, broken pallets. · Damaged Boxes/returns should be rectified in new outer cases and stored correctly back in rotation. · Racking should be inspected and checked. · Trailers to be picked and loaded. · Containers to be docked and keys taken from driver to begin offloading. · Ensuring the container is offloaded safely and correctly in location by liaising with the stock controller for the day Apply Now To apply for the Cold Store Supervisor role, please send a copy of your CV using the apply button provided on the page.
