CNC Grinder

My client in Cardiff are looking for a CNC Grinder on a Temporary basis with an immediate start. You will be required to work as a member on the production team and liaise with the engineering department to ensure responsibilities are carried out effectively. Responsibilities To carry out finish grinding of small batch components to high precision using both surface and cylindrical grinders. Inspect and measure finished components. Assist, repair and modify existing tooling’s and fixtures Maintain a clean and safe environment, working within company quality, health, safety and environmental management systems always. Competencies Experience of precision grinding and polishing (internal, external & surface). Experience of CNC machinery Fanuc & Heidelheim including setting & programming. Must be able to make milled & turned parts from drawings. Toolmaking experience or can demonstrate equivalent. Carbide Grinding is beneficial The candidate must be available to start immediately. Hours of work are: Mon - Thurs: 07:00am - 16:00pm Friday: 07:00am - 13:00pm Rate if pay: £12 - £14 per hour dependant on experience
