Love cars? Imagine a job where you can work with cars all day, every day. (Disclaimer: you’ll have to work with people, too) The Job As a Vehicle Inspector, you’ll be doing what it says on the tin - carrying out accurate, efficient inspections on end of lease vehicles. You’ll be using a tablet to take images of damage and input your inspection data to create the full report. You’ll plan and run your daily schedule - organisation is key, as is remaining calm when things don’t go quite to plan. Changes can (and do) occur, you will need to act fast to accommodate any schedule changes and re-convene with your driving team so they know what’s happening, too. You are the face of the company when you’re out on the road. The customer will be fully present during your inspection, they might ask you questions about your report - or even object Either way, tip top customer service is critical and it’s your responsibility to professionally handle any questions or objections. What you’ll need… It’d be a huge advantage if you have experience in this field - but if you haven’t, any relevant experience with transferrable skills is great (i.e. you work in mechanics or body-shop but you want to get off the tools). They will teach you the things you don’t know, as after that you will be working independently. Given the nature of this job and due to insurance stipulations, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence.
