Electrical Approvals Engineer

A large and leading manufacturer based in Wellingborough are recruiting for an Approvals Engineer / Certification Engineer from an electrical background. The Approvals Engineer will be responsible for preparing documentation, testing and project management of all electrical approvals and certification. Commutable from: Wellingborough, Northampton, Towcester, Crick, Kettering, Newport Pagnell, Rushden Salary: £ 40,000 to £ 45,000 per annum, pension, 22 days holiday & bank holidays, private medical insurance The Role This Approvals Engineer will be tasked with: Prepare documentation, testing and project management of all electrical approvals within various international agencies Hazardous area approvals (ATEX, cFMus, IEXEx, NEPSI) and electrical approvals Work in cooperation with electrical approvals engineers as required on join development projects Liaise with various engineering departments, carry out effective management of the hazardous area system approvals Provide wide ranging support to the R&D department in the research, testing and development of intrumentation The Person As an Approvals Engineer you will be: Experience as an approvals engineer, certification engineer or similar experience in the hazardous area approvals Knowledge of EMC approvals process would be advantageous Also hold an engineering degree qualification To apply, please forward an up to date copy of your CV to Matt Griffiths or call 01789 201040 / 07455162344 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89772376
