Senior Financial Reporting Manager We are recruiting for a new role for a qualified senior manager to join a rapidly expanding fund and corporate services business in Fareham. Reporting to the Director the Senior Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for providing technical accounting, regulatory reporting expertise and training to the Real Assets team whose portfolio includes various clients with complex and varied portfolio fund structures including holding and property SPVs. Key responsibilities: Responsible for managing the service delivery for the UK Real Assets business Lead a team of Financial Reporting Managers, administrators and accountants Manage the accounting of the more complex requirements of clients' affairs within a team including the accounting of fund structures and property companies High-level review following the managers' review of fund accounts, holding company accounts and property company accounts ensuring that all outputs are completed to a high standard Assist the managers with the review of all aspects of accounting matters for a team incorporating investor reports, management accounts, statutory financial statements and ad-hoc investor queries High-level review of UK VAT returns and CIS reporting to HMRC previously reviewed by the managers Oversight of administration, payments and cash management across structures Work closely with the managers to manage the audit process for all clients within the team, building strong relationships with audit firms Ensure the accounting requirements and reporting deadlines for a whole team are met, overseeing planning, scheduling, and monitoring of workloads Act as a mentor to Financial Reporting Managers and supervise and assist in the training and development of staff Assist with the establishment and maintenance of UK fund and corporate entities Participate in client fee negotiations Candidates: Candidates will be fully qualified (ACCA or ACA) with experience of managing teams and ideally fund and / or property accounting experience with a good understanding of real estate, infrastructure and private debt asset classes. Candidates should have strong financial reporting, systems and communication skills.
