Security Risk & Assurance Specialist, Permanent, South Leeds, £60000 The Bridge IT are working with growing Financial organisation in South Leeds to recruit a Security Risk & Assurance Specialist to drive forward the companies Cyber Security Risk Management Framework. identifying and assessing security threats and risks, testing security controls and enhancing security policy for cloud platforms and applications. Responsibilities Performing vulnerability testing and assessment of post incident remediation activities. Lead security incident response and analysis Liaise with external 3rd parties on incident response issues Support the security engineering team with maintenance and and functionality of security systems and software. Assess the impact on the firm's security posture following new projects or operational changes information security across wider business units Qualifications/Experience Previous experience of security operations activities, ideally in a SOC Hold at least one recognised security certification (E.G. CISSP, SANS GIAC, CEH,CCSP) Experience of public cloud environments (AWS/Azure) Knowledge of network security controls, such as firewalls and IPS/IDS Good understanding of wider information security principles Excellent communication skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89960406
