The Legion Needs You During the COVID-19 outbreak the safety and well-being of the elderly and most vulnerable in our community, including our veteran population, is our highest priority. The Legion is in need of Care Assistants to ensure we can withstand the challenges resulting from Coronavirus. We are looking for Care Assistant’s to support residents within our care home on a casual basis during these challenging times. We have Day and Night shifts available. Based at Listen House, Ripon, you will work within a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the unit and in delivering person centred care in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and well being . You should have previous experience of working in a Care Home or similar environment with a vulnerable client group. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential and an enthusiasm to learn and develop within this role is required.
