Computational Physicist - Algorithm Engineering - Cambridge A market leading developer of scientific instruments within the Cambridge cluster are actively looking for experienced Computational Physicists to join their team of highly skilled engineers and scientists to work on state-of-the art technologies. As a Computational Physicist, you will take lead on algorithm development, mathematical modelling and systems analysis on bleeding and leading-edge technologies and you will be solving real-world engineering problems. Because of the nature of this organisation you will always have new and exciting projects on the horizon. You will be working alongside world-class engineers and scientists in state-of-the-art labs and workspaces and will be working on a broad mix of technologies and applications. The majority of these will be sensor-based technologies, ranging from autonomous vehicles, smart home IoT devices to implantable medical devices that measure vital signs and disease progression. Your role will be to develop solutions for often noisy data and sensor signals on devices that aim to save and improve people's lives. To be considered for this exciting Computational Physicist role you will need to have a high scoring degree in physics or mathematics from a leading university as well as commercial experience gained working on products within, scientific instrumentation or sensor sectors. Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required as is a strong entrepreneurial flare and the desire to progress through the company.
