Overview
The successful candidate will develop their experience and skills in Corporate Finance and gain exposure to a varied mix of projects (including Acquisitions, Disposals and Finance Raising). The principal duties of this role include: Financial Modelling and the preparation of financial forecasts. Assisting with the preparation of business plan narrative and content. Investigating opportunities for acquisitive clients and liaising with them. Assisting on disposal projects. Investigating funding options for clients seeking to raise finance. Assisting with due diligence assignments. Networking with the Business Community across the North West. Developing own network of potential clients and referrers of work. Utilising research databases for business development and project work. To be successful in this role, candidates will need to have excellent attention to detail skills and a flexible approach to managing workload and priorities. The role will require candidates to use their professional judgement where required and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. To be considered for this position, applicants will need to: Be recently qualified (ACA or ACCA). Have access to your own car and full driving licence. Have good communication skills, both written and oral. Possess commercial acumen. Have good IT skills (in particular Word and Excel). Willing to engage in business development activities. Tenacity. Desirable attributes include: Interest in financial projections and developing further in this area. Experience of some of the areas of key responsibilities outlined above. Interest in Corporate Finance work.
