NPD Manager - Personal Care and Cosmetic Ingredients

Our Client is a speciality supplier and manufacturer of raw materials to the UK Personal Care & Cosmetic Industry. They are now seeking an NPD (New Product Development) Manager - Personal Care and Cosmetic Ingredients. This position will be based in Redditch, Worcestershire and report to the Division Manager - Personal Care. The position is a full-time permanent role. Key Responsibilities To carry out formulation development Gain instruction from the marketing and technical committee to identify work priorities and SMART objectives Create formulations in the laboratory Liaise with colleagues to understand business needs Present findings to the customer Qualifications and Experience Science education to degree level (or equivalent) Ability to create products in a number of fields of application in Personal Care / Cosmetic Ingredients Commercial product technical formulation experience Understanding of the sensitivities associated with a commercial sales operation Attention to detail Ability to learn, reach consensus and communicate in an operational environment Analytical, Numerate, Literate Ability to make customer presentations In return, our Client is offering a competitive package, including a basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (salary is negotiable and dependent on experience) plus benefits.
