Customer Support Adviser Location: Harlow, Essex Position: Customer Support Adviser Salary: £17,500-£18,000 Type: Permanent, Full time Adecco Harlow are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Adviser within a large and successful corporate business in Harlow. This position requires someone who has a strong sense of customer focus and can also proactively grow awareness of a wide range of the company's products and service. Key Responsibilities Identify and action customer queries efficiently and effectively within defined response times. Deal with telephone calls, emails and written correspondence according to procedures. Proactively follow up delivery reports from carriers and liaise with customers. Process customer returns, replacements and credit notes. Contact carriers to chase overdue deliveries and organise carrier claims if necessary. Maintain accurate and up to date records of all queries and complaints and proactively follow them up with customers. Proactively work with the Purchasing and Warehouse department to identify product issues. Process ad hoc orders for various departments. Action and pack daily catalogue and sample requests. Classify new entries to the database and check for errors and duplications. Process returned catalogues and update SAP mailing records. Skills Good level of telephone skills Competent at using email as a method of communication to both customers and colleagues. Excellent interpersonal skills Effective communication skills - both verbal and written Well-developed planning and organisational skills Accuracy and attention to detail. Good standard of IT literacy. Good standard of numeracy.
