Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Manchester - £Six-figure Equity Broster Buchanan are engaged on a retained basis to recruit for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a PE backed Managed Service Partner (MSP) based in Manchester. The organisation is an award-winning Infrastructure, Cloud and MSP and have been solving critical business challenges for more than 20 years. With a truly customer centric approach the Group assists key stakeholders; C Level & senior IT professionals to design and implement best in class IT solutions and services throughout their business. The Group is not only passionate about delivering technical excellence but also for its reputation and customer satisfaction focus. PE investment was finalised in late 2019 and the Group are now embarking on the next phase of its exciting growth plans. In order to maximise on growth and shareholder value they are recruiting for a CTO to join a newly formed Board. The CTO role is a strategic position that will sit on the main board and will report to the CEO. The role will primarily provide the technical vision for the Group, identify current and future product and service innovation available to the MSP market and will ensure the business is prepared to act quickly to maximise returns on such product and service investment and deliver successfully to their existing customer base and net new opportunities. The role will be critical to the overall performance and profitable growth of the business and will provide succession planning to the shareholders. The successful candidate will be a 'strategic technologist' capable of executing the technical strategy for the Group. Has contributed previously to the success of a MSP or Cloud provider, the individual will be able to demonstrate the commercial impact they have had on the businesses in which they have worked. Of equal importance will be the candidates cultural fit to the business namely their interpersonal skills, leadership ability and drive.
