Herts Good Care is a non-profit company, supporting adult care providers across Hertfordshire to fill their permanent positions. We are currently working with Silvacare Homes to find a Registered Manager to join their team. Job Shift: Days Location: Watford Type of Provider: Care Home (Residential) Service Users: Learning Disability , Mental Health Salary: £30000 Per Annum Hours of Work: 40 Driving Required: No Contract Type: Full Time Contract About the company Silvacare Homes currently has two small residential care homes, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Mental Health conditions. To meet the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act (2008) and associated care home regulations by the CQC and Hertfordshire County Council (HCC). To work autonomously, as well as within the home care team, and collaboratively with the Multi-disciplinary Team To build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders To manage the selection, induction, training, supervision and appraisal of staff To undertake service users initial assessments, care planning, risk assessments and reviews To construct, implement and review policies, procedures, home risk assessments, quality assurance methods and medicine audits programmes To create and execute action plans based on service users, staff and all professionals service questionnaires To create service user-friendly care plans and service user guides What makes the perfect Registered Manager? Experience in working within the Health & Social Care Sector at Senior Leadership level Has experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental health conditions You will have to be approachable, competent, confident, enthusiastic and willing to lead by example in the achievement of personal, team, and national goals Has passion and enthusiasm to maintain and raise the standard of care Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders Excellent communication skills both written, IT and verbal Holds a NVQ/QCF Level 5 or associated qualification Be able to work autonomously, within your home care team and in collaboration with the MDT If you are interested in this position please apply today and we will call you within the next couple of days.
