Overview
A local authority based in East London is seeking an Adult Social Services Lawyer for six months initially. Our client is seeking an Adults Lawyer to undertake the following: Provide advice under the Care Act 2014, Advice on the councils responsibilities to persons with no recourse to public funds, Mental Capacity Act 2005 matters, Deprivation of liberty, COP, Judicial review and SEN matters. Our client is looking for someone with excellent organisational and time management skills who can bring a positive influence on developing the working practices of the team. Due to the nature of the role, our client is seeking candidates with previous experience in this area. It is essential that you have experience carrying a full and varied caseload.
