Veterinary Surgeon, near Burgess Hill Salary: Competitive - Dependent on experience Hours: Full time(Out of hours - currently on a 1 weekend in 6 rota) The Practice: Our Client is an established veterinary practice covering Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and the surrounding areas of Mid Sussex. Their philosophy is to provide the most effective care available. With state-of-the-art medical equipment which further aids their capabilities; as does the many years of practical experience, and knowledge, of their team of vets, nurses, support and reception staff They are a compassionate veterinary team who endeavour to provide a flawless, caring service to all their clients and their furry friends: supplying both preventative and supportive care within the practice. The role: A small animal general independent practice (training practice) with 10 vets, 11 nurses. Partnership prospects are offered, if desired. We are looking for an experienced, confident and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join the team. You must be confident in both surgery and consultations and have a desire to provide the best care possible to all our clients. You would be working as part of an experienced team of vets, dedicated to offering a supportive environment and providing the highest possible standards of patient and client care. They have a fantastic nursing support and reception team. The out of ours service is for patients of the practise only, they are not an emergency clinic. The on call shifts can be based from home if local, or there is onsite accommodation. It operates on an emergency call out only system and a nurse is onsite to care for inpatients and to assist. Night shifts are generally quiet.
