Overview

Finance manager - shared services An international financial services company requires a Finance Manager to support the transformation and the future growth of the business for a 1 year fixed term contract. You will deliver excellent support, expertise and high quality management information. The role will report to the Shared Service Finance Director. Responsibilities Responsibility for the overall preparation and delivery of UK reporting for Shared Services UK operating expenses to assist the business in meeting its expense objectives. To work with the business areas to identify, analyse and comment on expense variances and trends and to communicate variances and trends with senior management. To work with business areas on developing their long term plans, identifying opportunities, investigating options and helping to articulate the key changes & business drivers To maintain UK expense accounting records to help the business meet its ongoing objectives. Administer the expense accounting data in the corporate ledger to ensure that accounting data is up to date and accurate and meets the needs of the business. Control function and maintenance for the SAP Fixed Assets module, including all major capital projects - appropriate splits, sign off and depreciation. Continual analysis of existing departmental expense processes and controls. Responsibility for the production of monthly and quarterly Board reporting packs for review by Senior Management, delivered in an accurate and timely basis, to the required Corporate deadlines. You will be a qualified accountant with Shared Services experience. Fixed Asset Accounting knowledge particularly in SAP would be advantageous. You will have a flexible approach with a "can do attitude".
